Chris Powe is one of 13 emerging artists from our Sunday Jazz series selected to perform in the high-energy jam session that will close out Sunday Jazz at The Ford on July 19.

As the very first Sunday Jazz Artist in Residence when we launched the series at ORA in 2024, Chris helped set the tone for what Sunday Jazz would become. A Los Angeles native, Berklee College of Music graduate, and alumnus of the Fernando Pullum Community Arts Center, Chris has quickly emerged as one of the city’s exciting young saxophonists.
